Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream Review

Hello Lifestylers,

Today I have a product review on Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream for oily skin. It has taken me a while to review the BB Cream because I could not find my color they either had a light or dark colors. After visiting different drug stores and finally decided to order it online through Walmart. I was honestly trying to avoid shipping charges, but I will tell you if the purchase was worth it.

Covergirl claims the following about the BB Cream.

  • Product is oil free
  • It will not clog pores
  • It is suitable for sensitive skin
  • Last all day

I tested the product a couple of days ago. I applied the product around 3:00 P.M a removed it after midnight. Steps to how I prepped my skin and used the product.

Step 1. I washed and applied moisturizer in the morning.

Step 2. I used the MAC Prep Plus Prime

Step 3. I waited about 5 minutes before using the BB Cream

Step 4. I placed dots all around my face and use a brush to blend.

Step 5. I applied Clinique translucent power only tapping on my skin with the sponge.

What do I honestly think? I honestly LOVE the BB Cream! Do I recommend it of course I do? I did not blot my T-Zone (which I normally do throughout the day). I typically use a setting spraying after I finish with all my makeup but for the purpose of this review I did not set my makeup. My skin did not look caking and it stayed matted throughout the evening.

Pros and Cons about the product:

  • It is inexpensive under $8.00
  • Does provide long last wear
  • It is not heavy on the skin
  • Buildable coverage

Con:

  • Limited colors
  • Does contain sunscreen

I hope you found this review helpful. Please share your thoughts on the product. Till next time Lifestylers.
